Tamdhu 28yo for Shinanoya

Post by Stefan Van Eycken, Tokyo
The guys at Shinanoya have just released a new store exclusive, sourced from independent bottler Exclusive Malts. It's a 1984 Tamdhu (28yo) drawn from a single hogshead (#2837) and bottled at cask strength. The Shinanoy guys are the undisputed truffling dogs of the whisky industry here in Japan, so there's no doubt in our minds that this will be another one of their bottlings to treasure. There's a mere 120 bottles, so better be quick to keep buyer's remorse (i.e. wishing you'd surfed to their site a bit faster) at bay.
